Kia ora everyone,
I hope everyone enjoyed the school holidays last month. These days, children’s lives are so busy, so it’s nice for them to get some wind-down time as well.
It has been very wet around the Wellington region – perfect weather for ducks but not much else. Roll on Spring next month and the start of the warmer weather and longer days!
I hope you are all keeping an eye on our training calendar. We have some exciting new training coming up. Please do let me know if you have any suggestions regarding times and days as I’m happy to accommodate if I can.

Training
Registrations for What’s Behind the Behaviour – Healing Centred Engagement are now open. This newly developed training explores the importance of emotional connection with children. The idea is to parent in a way that meets the behavioural, developmental, and therapeutic needs of the child. This DDP informed workshop has an emphasis on ‘connection with correction’ to provide a secure and safe base for the child. I look forward to seeing you there!

Support Groups
We had a new Support Group startup last month in Thorndon. It was nice to see everyone enjoying a coffee together and sharing with each other their knowledge and support. This group will alternate monthly between a week-day meeting and a weekend meeting so it can be available to all. Contact Susie Jones on 021 120 5069 if you need more information. This will be at Te Papa on a Sunday so families can come along.
It would be great to see you there!
