Kia ora everyone,
Gosh, what a year we have had.
Have you been watching the Tokyo Olympics? I’ve managed to catch some of the events New Zealanders are in. It has been interesting watching how it has been operating this time due to COVID-19. It has certainly been a time of reflection of those things we hold dear. I hope those of you that qualified for Group 3 of the vaccine have managed to get a booking for your jab/s. I know the general pool (Group 4) opens soon too. Remember to take care of yourself throughout all of this. If you need a listening ear, support or advocacy, give us a call.

Wilding Books
If you don’t know about Wildling books, jump online and have a look. They have some lovely books that our tamariki (children) who have had many challenges, can find comfort in, along with some good little strategies.

Training
Registrations are now open for What’s Behind the Behaviour – Healing Centred Engagement! This newly developed training explores the importance of emotional connection with children. The idea is to parent in a way that meets the behavioural, developmental, and therapeutic needs of the child. This DDP informed workshop has an emphasis on ‘connection with correction’ to provide a secure and safe base for the child.
Please check out our training calendar below to see details of upcoming courses.
