Well, I hope the wild weather of last month is well behind us and we can look ahead to Spring. September is shaping up to be an exciting month, not only will we be enjoying crisp, sun-filled days, seeing more daffodils and new lambs around the place (have you been to Ambury Farm recently?) it is also the month for so many great events; our Keeping PACE National Conference and Face Your Future camp for youth coming up later in the month, (you can find out more about these below), as well as FASD Awareness Month for Aotearoa, and Te Wiki o te Reo, Māori Language Week from the 12th of September.
I hope to be able to keep you in the loop with what is happening for these via our Auckland Facebook group. If you are joining us for our Keeping PACE Conference do make sure to come and say hi – it will be lovely to see you!

TRAINING
There is still time to register for our face to face training for this school term:
For those of you in and around the Silverdale area, we would love to have you join us for Making Changes-Stability in Hard Times on Tuesday 6 September. If you’re interested in considering what you bring to your role as a caregiver and exploring ways you can use this understanding to create a calm, settled, home environment, centred around the relationship with your tamariki and rangatahi, this training will be a helpful one. You can register for this training here.
Also in September we are also running three online training sessions, so you can learn from the comfort of your home;
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Online Training (FASD)
Ako Ngātahi Learning Together ‘Parenting in a Healing Way’
Difficult Behaviours – Managing Confrontation & Intimidating Interactions
