Tēnā Koutou Katoa, Greetings to you all.

With the silly season fast approaching the pressure to live up to what the “Joneses” are doing is going to be felt even more this year, given the economic status of our beautiful country.  I have three little people living with us and I’m feeling it may be time to start shifting the focus from “gift receiving” to “good deed doing”.

After having a chat with our three darlings they have come up with some lovely ‘good deed doing’ ideas they can do as gifts for family and friends.  Some of their ideas are not completely original but the commitment is to be commended.  I can share that one lucky grandfather can expect a cup of tea every morning for the whole of December and a promise from another to not have to be reminded to feed the dog each day of December.  It won’t cost them a cent but how grateful will their grandfather be (if it happens lol).  Now, all I’ve got to do, is come up with a good deed I can do for them in lieu of another piece of plastic for Christmas. With less than 4 weeks to go it should be a breeze.  Yeah right!

If you have any great ideas for Christmas, please share them on our Facebook page.  I look forward to hearing from you.
