Well, we made it through lock down! Most of us are getting back on the merry-go-round of school / work / busy life… with mixed feelings, and that’s okay 😊.
I have been encouraged to hear that many schools have not had a ‘push kids to catch up’ mentality but are focussing on wellbeing and connection – yaaay!

Keep being an advocate and a ‘rock’ for the tamariki / children and rangatahi / young people in your care, as they find their way in this ‘new normal’. Keep making time to connect as a family, and most of all look after yourselves… Keep doing the little things that help you relax, keep appreciating the small things that bring you joy.
