Kia ora Koutou Katoa,
Ten months down with only two to go! Wow, where did 2020 go… actually, I think we all know where those months have gone!
It’s been a funny old time with COVID-19 gatecrashing what was supposed to be a good year. Now with Spring upon us, little master 2 and I have been busy nurturing our tiny seeds into seedlings. We had a wonderful time planting them in the big garden. Our time in the garden with the plants, snails, and lots of dirt met so many needs for both of us. We were outside in the fresh air and sunshine (although still a bit chilly), with no technology, just chatting and literally potting around the garden. It made him happy and it made me happy too. I call that self-care. Doing something that makes you happy and lets you feel good is self-care. I highly recommend it!

With the school holidays in full swing please be kind and take a moment to care for yourself. A walk, a chat with an old friend, a cup of tea, a good movie, a swim… whatever brings your smile. It is such good use of your time, and your soul will thank you for it. As for me, I will monitor the garden and keep you updated.
We have a busy term four ahead with Christmas around the corner and I can tell you your Regional Committee is hard at work behind the scenes to ensure we make the end of 2020 a goodie. Happy Spring everyone!
Training
I have really enjoyed connecting with many of you through training. Workshops are an opportunity to connect with other like-minded folks with similar experiences and I always say to attendees that there is just as much learning in the sideways sharing as there is in the top-down learning. We all enjoy the great discussions throughout the day. Let me know what you would like training on and how we can support you. Please check out the Term Four training calendar which is now live!
Whakawhetai ki a koe mahi katoa / Thanks for all you do,
