Kia ora koutou,

Already we are over halfway through the year, with the shortest day now well behind us. I hope you all had an opportunity to enjoy and celebrate in our first publicly recognised Matariki.

On the Thursday night (23rd June) we had our Starry Night Skies event.  It was a fabulous evening partnering with Voyce and celebrating with our caregiver whanau. The tamariki enjoyed dancing with glow sticks and a wonderful cake.

NEWS

Finally, it is with great sadness that I inform you that I will be leaving Caring Families Aotearoa in July.  Unfortunately, with family matters pressing I have made the difficult decision to leave this role.  My plan was to be with you, supporting you all across the region for some years to come.  I have met and enjoyed working with some wonderful caregivers, it’s been a real privilege, thank you.  I wish you and Caring Families Aotearoa all the best for the future.  I will be supporting the vision of Caring Families Aotearoa from the side-lines.

Nga mihi ra mo nga ra kei mua I te aroaro  (all the best for the future)
