Kia ora everyone,
I hope everyone is doing well? Children will all be back at school now and hopefully have settled in well. Let’s hope this year is smoother than last and we don’t have too many of these little bumps!
We had an interesting conversation in February with one of our local caregivers and Jane Carrigan. Jane supported the caregiver with a NASC (Needs Assessment Service Centre) assessment for her child and is an independent disability advocate. I have included a link to her blog below. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like more information or you can contact Jane directly.

Foster Care Awareness Week is in March – I hope you are all able to take a moment to acknowledge yourselves and all the hard mahi you put into loving and raising the children in your care. The work you do is so valuable to young people in care.
Have a fantastic month everyone,
Bernadette
