Kia ora Kaimanaaki whānau ki Te Tai Tokerau/Be well, Northland Caregivers.

How has your year started? I think, the phrase “unprecedented times” still rings true with the need to expect the unexpected.  But if you are a seasoned caregiver, raising someone else’s child or children, you probably live life this way anyway.  No matter how rigorous your routines are we can still get caught off guard.

Please join us on Wednesday night, 9 March, for an exceptionally entertaining and informative connection with Sarah Naish.  You can have a preview here.

Registering to engage with Sarah’s experience as an adoptive mother is well worth the time and effort to get a sense of her vivacious personality. See you there. Click here to register.

I’ve really appreciated the material in our latest training module, “Making Changes-Stability in Hard Times”.  I invite you to register for this as it’s available online throughout the first school term of this year. The module contains valuable information that might help you understand yourself, your tamariki and mokopuna more, and help to create a calmer, less surprising, family environment to live in. It’s all about the relationship!

Take care out there, be kind to yourself and others, reach in, and out, to make the world a better place.

Keep calm and carry on.
