Kia ora koutou/ Hi everyone,
Oh my goodness, here is the last newsletter of 2022 and I look back and see a very busy year rapidly disappearing behind us! As I pen this, we have just had the end of year fishing event in Nelson, wet but very fun. A few lucky tamariki hooked a trout for tea but unusually the fish were elusive this year. We did have awesome cakes and food to make up for the long wait for fish though!

We have the last of the Christmas events in Greymouth and Westport in December and the last of the workshops for the year as well.
Recently we had a bike event run by Simply Wild Adventures, who did a team building event with New Zealand Wineries. They donated three new bikes to tamariki in care. If you would like to nominate your young person (between 4 years and 12 years) for any upcoming events that they might do, then please let me know. The events don’t come round very often.
Thank you all for the ongoing support over the year and your unwavering commitment to the tamariki in your care. I hope that you are all looking forward to a time of relaxation, and time together over the long Christmas break.
