Kia ora koutou/Hi everyone,

Another round of school holidays has come and gone. I was lucky enough to take the whole whānau to the Bay of Islands for a holiday which was a mission but we had an awesome time and discovered parts of Aotearoa that had until this point been just a pipe dream.

Having a group of 12 in holiday accommodation had its challenges, but having the experience of PACE behind me meant we were able to navigate the tricky parts with relative ease, and the funny thing was, only I was aware that it was being used! 

Welcome to all our new caregivers that have joined the Caring Families whānau and I hope you take any opportunity that is provided to connect with each other, either via Kanohi ki te kanohi/ Face to face in our support groups or training workshops.

Take a look below for what’s coming up. Something to look forward to is our Regional Hui which will take place in October, the theme will be Wellbeing, and I will keep you updated as details become available and confirmed.

My days of work are Monday-Wednesday 9.00am-4:30pm, Thursday 9:30am-1:30pm. I am often away in my region for training and support so please ring me if you wish to pop in – 027 369 3333.
